Well, a good start. The MC is a bit of a dick and probably deserves some of what is coming. If I might suggest...give us a few options for how much of a dick the MC is at the beginning. Give you a bit more scope for escalation later...

He wakes up in morning; he speaks rudely to family members; then sits down in front of his computer, watching porn and lovingly fondles his 'joystick'(He is Male; enough said) And then, I played the game - He is Lazy and a Loser with a dose of self-denial to think that He is actually Cool! The male ego!
